Cayman small business; in George Town, Grand Cayman and the rest of the island…

When looking at George Town in Grand Cayman, one thing appears to be obvious. All the big businesses are shifting away from this area.

George Town is no longer looking like the Capital of Grand Cayman any longer. A once vibrant bustling mecca of big businesses mixed with smaller more localized businesses, is now looking like a skeleton of what it once was.

With new mega developments such as Caymana Bay, and the harsh economic times we now face, all the big businesses have either shut down or upgraded to this new setting. Thus causing a separation of businesses who can afford to weather the new economic storm we now face and those who can’t.

What we are left with is a ‘tearing in two’ of George Town, leaving behind the smaller businesses who can’t afford to go anywhere and the empty office spaces that now litter the once thriving business centers and plazas.

This new look made it even more undesirable for customers and consumers who search for that big business, high quality look and feel George Town once offered. And now the smaller businesses are starting to suffer because of this lack of consumer traffic.

But there is light at the end of the tunnel…The Eastern districts have given smaller businesses a way out of the quick sinking sand they now find themselves up to the neck in.

With the huge development of residential areas, schools and grocery stores, small to medium sized businesses will start to flood these areas like water that has found a new channel. Those business owners with the vision, insight and a little financing can find themselves in the right place at the right time to capitalize on this well needed expansion.

Stonecrest Trade & Business Center is one such place that has provided this venue to small businesses in Cayman looking for a way out of the economic mire that now plagues the central George Town area. With the upswing of small businesses in this area, many services will be needed including; Accounting, Bookkeeping, Investment Fund Management, Corporate and Immigration Administrative services.

PBS (Professional Business Services) is one such business that has poised itself in this area to make our-self available to these businesses. We have found that our services will be highly valuable to those who wish to shift out of George Town are in order to capitalize on the new consumer base in the eastern districts.

With the latest software and professionals that know how to use them, PBS is the premier business service provider in the eastern districts at this time. Please visit PBS for more information or give us a call at 345.623-7PBS (7727).
